Colm O'Riordan is a lecturer in the Dept. of IT. His main research interests include information retrieval and filtering, multi-agent systems and evolutionary computation.
He currently teaches Programming II (CT229), Database Systems II (CT332), Modern Information Management (CT422) and Multi-agent systems as a fourth year option (CT433).
He is a founder member of the Computational Intelligence Research Group
